Armenia

Some CITES legislation in place and some provisions translated and submitted to the Secretariat. Additional legislation / regulations being developed. Discussions with the Secretariat are ongoing. Legislative analysis done by the Secretariat in August 2023 and comments provided to Armenia. Legislation moved to Category 2 at SC77. Additional legislative analysis done in February 2025. New update submitted in April 2025. Revised legislative analysis pending with the Secretariat. 

Finalisation of revised legislation / regulations by Armenia. Agreement between Armenia and the Secretariat on the legislative analysis, including possible Category 1 status.
