Nationals from countries listed below are allowed to enter the Philippines without visa for a stay not exceeding twenty-one (21) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination. The Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs regulations require that passports are valid for a period of not less than six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay. However, Immigration Officers at ports of entry may exercise their discretion to admit holders of passports valid for at least sixty (60) days beyond the intended period of stay.

All passengers departing from the Philippine international airports are required to pay an airport tax of Php 550.00 approximately USD 10.00
5. Transportation
Dusit Hotel Nikko offers a USD14.00 per car/way with a maximum of three (3) persons per vehicle. Advance flight information (arrival/departure) is requested from the participants for transfer from airport to hotel.
6. Currency exchange
Besides the Philippine peso (Php), US dollar is the most accepted currency in the Philippines. There are a number of banks near Dusit Hotel Nikko. Official exchange is approximately Php 56.00 to USD 1.
7. Climate
June to October is rainy season in the Philippines, with temperature ranging from 23 0C to 28 0C (73 to 82 0F). Light clothing is recommended.
A field trip for the participants from the Asian countries to visit Birds International, Incorporated in Quezon City, Metro Manila, will be organized on 22 July 2004.
