The international symposium on “The relevance of community-based natural resource management (CBNRM) to the conservation and sustainable use of CITES-listed species in exporting countries” was held in Vienna, Austria, 18 – 20 May 2011, and was co-organized by the Austrian Ministry of the Environment and the European Commission.
